Vision Inspection
If your product requires 100% inspection, McFadden Engineers can provide the latest in optical vision inspection. This is a real time, online inspection device capable of analyzing 8 or more individual images per second, while inspecting each part.
Anyone could give you Zero Defects, just fail 50% of your product. The challenge is to find the part that is out of specific tolerances allowing acceptable parts through. Vision Inspection quickly and subjectively analyzes the image and rejects parts that are out of tolerance.
First a photo eye triggers a strobe light.
This strobe light freezes motion and allows the camera to capture an image.
Inspection paths (tools) are applied to this image, first finding the product to be inspected and then applying the actual inspection paths (tools).
This inspection system then accepts or fails this individual part.
